the rebate like works for me...Maybe it was just down for a day or two. Anyways I posted a copy of it on my webspace here.

It says the Kingston is type II. Does it make a difference what type it is? I want to use it for the A70 I just purchased

Why do you say Kingston isn't good for S200, I just got mine and it is in my S200 right now. It seems to be okay, but is there something I don't know?



Anyhow, Dell came through! My Kingston just got here and my Simpletech shipped 2 days ago. I ordered the Kingston first and then a week later I got worried that I wouldn't get it due to delays, and I ordered the Simpletech. Both shipped on the same day, but the Simpletech ships from Texas whereas the Kingston shipped from Indiana for me (I live in Ohio).

So hurray Dell for actually shipping both after putting text like "we are trying our best to fulfill your order but we do have an estimated ship date." Now if they'll send me that psc-50 case for my S200.


BTW, does anyone have a link to the rebate forms with the original dates (the April ones) all the current forms say May. Thanks!

How come when I added the kingston onto my cart and right before checkout, it still tells me the total price is $57 w/o the 15% off? I got the shipping charge waived but it's not taking off 15% for the Peripheral.

Apparently there's a supposed 20% off in software/peripherals although the price went up slightly, but bottom line is ~$30. I can't get the 20% to show up though, can anyone else? This is in small biz by the way.

I, too, was not getting the 20% off because I had clicked on the original link in the first post of this thread for the Kingston 256mg compact flash. That took me to home/home office. I went all the way through the checkout process up to "submit order", and didn't get the discount.

I canceled there, went to Dell SMALL BUSINESS, went through the exact checkout process for the exact product and GOT the 20% off.

So just be careful to go through SMALL BUSINESS to order and get the discount worth $11.59.

I also rec'd the "non" high speed compact flast card. Those receiving the "High Speed", would you please read the part number printed on the edge of the card...difficult to see unless you have it under good light. This is important because it will tell the type of CF memory and whether Kingston has simply changed the labeling. Kingston does indeed offer some faster CF but this isn't it.

Mine says - THNCF256MMA(T00CB)

Also, I too need a link to the PDF or could someone email me a copy. There is a new one posted that is only good for May purchases.

Mine has exactly the same part numbers and yes, it's NOT the high-speed version. Does that help you?

Anyways I'm returning this one to Dell and try to get another shot at the Small Business section from Dell. Can someone please confirm which CF card are they selling?

I'm in the same boat and I E-mailed Dell about it and they haven't responded yet.
