Pretty good deal for CAS2 ram and apparantly is fully compatable with all chipsets. I admittedly haven't tried it, but for the price it could be worth a shot. It would save you about $40 over the cost of Crucial equivalent.

This looks to be a pretty good deal. They seem to have a good reseller rating at BizRate.com and the memory has lifetime replacement warranty.

Anyone out there have any experience with this vendor or this memory? Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

If you look back a few weeks in the forums, this place had a deal on their 128meg stick for $53 shipped (looked like a lot were jumping on that deal). I got in on that. It got here in two days, and I am running the memory at 144MHz Cas2, and all other memory tweaks on a Abit KT-7 RAID maxed out. For me this was an awsome deal. Now I am thinking about getting another stick..........dang memory is cheap.

LOL, yeah, ok i'll let you know how it goes with it once i get it. Unfortunately, my Epox 8kta3plus is backordered , and beyond that i have a classic Athalon, which goes pc100, so it'll be some weeks before i can really test it.

if i get the memory how would i test it so be sure that it runs at CAS2 133 ... i have a Asus Mobo and coppermine ...someone suggested to Sandra ...but i am not sure how to test memory with that ... it does not give me CAS and FSB

I think if you set the memory timing to two in bios, it'll suggest three if it can't go that fast. as for 133, if your system bus is set to 133, then mem is at 133, unless you have some + or - 33 mhz jumper, for use with 133 processor bus and 100 memory bus, or visa-versa. hope that helps out.

Yes, that's what garunteed compatibility means, it'll work, or you get your money back. Seeing as they claim compatibility with athlon systems, and there's really 2 chipsets so far to support, you're good to go.

You can still get Crucial memory direct from Crucial for 121.54 with free UPS 2nd Day shipping. That's not a $40 difference. More like 11.69. Why take chances for $11? Stick with Crucial.

Err Compuwiz usually has 256 Meg Dimms that do 150 MHz @ 2-2-2 for $119 shipped. Cheaper if you buy more. I would check him out first

I was in the market for PC133 RAM 256MB, so I went to Pricewatch.com and watched and waited. The price weeks ago was $75, then dropped about .50 per day. At current it is at $67. Sounds like a good deal? Try calling some of these vendors that advertise their RAM at this cheap price. They don't know the difference between CAS 2 and CAS 3 is, they don't know what ns the RAM is, and their return policy is usually not listed on their partially functioning web site. I don't want to have my computer down waiting to exchange RAM chips, be accused of damaging them or misinstalling them, only to have them send me similar chips back in exchange.

I paid a bit more for assured quality from Crucial. Mushkin RAM was also considered, and is also considered very good. Before any of you go off purchasing cheap ram, thinking all will be well, consider what might happen if it doesn't.
