2900XT crossfire reviews?

has anyone see any crossfire reviews for the 2900? i cant seem to find more than one. being a bad ax board owner two 2900's is still a more cost effective upgrade than going out and buying two 8800's and a new mobo but i was hoping to see some definitive crossfire reviews for the cards. has anyone seen any?

Battlefield 2142, i play it and bf2 more than any games, do you notice how the two 2900's just barley beat out two x1950's in crossfire? is that just more game dependent or perhaps the new drivers for the card?

I'm just wondering if i'm not barking up the wrong tree to get two 2900 for my bad ax board and i should just get a new sli mobo and suck up the price of two 8800's. i hate to even have to consider this, i was wishing for so much more from the new ati cards especially since i have this bad ax board, im just wondering is saving some money to stick with the board and ati inst the wrong decision, i just hear allot of horror stories from sli and the current nvidia drivers and i have absolutely 0 issues with my two x1900s in crossfire so that leaves a shadow of a doubt, if one thing crossfire is its stable.

i have a xg duro 900 watt power supply,anyone know where to buy pci express 2 adapters for a power supply as mine doesnt have the new 8 pin pci express 2 connections yet it has plenty of power or will the cards come with an adapter? i dont see them in the included parts so im wondering what ill loose with no 8 pin pci express two connections.

hopefully someone on here can answer my question.
with earlier generations of crossfire, it was required to have one regular video card and one crossfire video card. Now with the r600 generation of video cards, you only need two of the same video cards...
I'm making the assumption that I no longer have to buy a crossfire card to enable crossfire with this generation ati video card...

i'm just looking for confirmation of this... since in testing, web sites don't go "ok... i hooked up cable 'y', to port 'b' on video card 'b', and ports 'a' and 'b' on video card 'a'... etc... etc.. etc.."

anyways...
i just want to be able to do r600 crossfire with my P5W DH... and make sure I get the correct cards.

Yeah crossfire has no master slave deal. It's really simplified with how they interface now too.
