290x 8gb or fury pro for 90€ more?

The seller just told me that I could have a fury pro card for 90€ more than the 290x I ordered. What would you buy? 290x with 8gb or fuji pro??? It's urgent, any help is much appreciated! I'll play at 1440p on a haswell-e cpu@4.4ghz.

A Fury card is far superior to a 290X card.

There is a Fury Pro card, like Hawaii had Hawaii Pro(290) and Hawaii XT(290X). The Fury Pro is the normal Fury while the Fury XT is Fury X.

OP: Go with Fury.
Also, why would you want to go with a special edition 8 GB 290X? When a 390X comes with same VRAM and usually for cheaper. (unless you mistyped and meant 390X from the getgo).

No, there is not a R9 Fury Pro. Only Fiji Pro, which is R9 Fury.

Hawaii Pro is R9 290, not R9 290 Pro, to use your analogy.

Ok thx all, I went with the fiji pro gpu (aka fury card) ;-)

P.s. it was actually a 290x 8gb, selling for about 331€ (while fury is 419€). Both nice deals I think.

419€ for a Fury? What. Crazy prices. The cheapest Fury available to me is 550€ and that's at German prices. Finnish prices are even higher.

331€ for a 290X 8GB isn't so impressive actually. R9 390 8GB is basically the same thing, and costs between 310-345€ in Germany depending on brand/model

Lehtv: yes, that's the lowest price I could find here in Italy and seems really good. I'll report back when I get the card.
