It should... I would be pissed if it didn't. I did it with the hoses curved almost to the front glass, with the water block in the estimated position, and the video cards will be to the left of the CPU in this config. (IO plate up)

And that liquid, even at approx 80% distilled, it is still sticky.I had to tip it on its back to get the air out (rads below reservoir.) All that is left is little tiny bubbles. I will let it run for 6 hours like before. And I think that other pump was bad from the start. I can hardly tell this one is running. (by feel, now that I am deaf, I could never hear it)

8:2 ratio would be what i consider optimal, so your good on the coolant mix.
I would not freak out when you do maintance and you notice jelly like deposits in your cpu block.
Its just the glycol clumping up.

You will need to flush your coolant ever 6-9 months tho to minimize the clump up and possible staining.

Well thats a pain in the arse... Can't you just run distilled water and a silver coil ?

lol you still would need to flush at least yearly.
It is a lot easier because your not premixing anything, and its just straight distilled.

I do mine bi yearly, which is why its important to add a good and working drain in your system.

Think of it like an oil change, you don't want old coolant in your system too long, it keeps your parts clean, and gives you less maintenance in the long run.

With no hardware in the case, it took me 2 hours to fill that and clean up the mess (you can't fill very fast). Now I will have to figure out how to do this easily.

I fill up the res about 3/4 with a funnel or squeeze bottle, turn on my PSU (only pump hooked up) and flip it off when the water level is almost gone, repeat until water no longer goes down. Draining, I have a ball valve at the bottom of my loop. I hook up an appropriate length of soft tubing, remove the stop plug from my res and open the valve.

OK, Update! its done. It will do 3950 mhz@less than 65c, but it draws 840 watts from the wall ! I think I will take it down to 3800@1.2 vcore, the 3950 was at 1.3 vcore. The 840 is with the 1080TI @100% folding.. Not sure I remember@stock, but my other 2990wx does 550 watt with a 2060@100%, so probably 600 watts@stock.

Here is a pic

Not sure about the 840 watt now. In linux, with both@100% it was 780 watts@3950 1.3 vcore. I now took it down to 3800 1.2 vcore, and its running 690 watts. (from the wall)

This is where I think I will stay, a nice happy medium. But good to know I can do 4 ghz or more if I want to !

you need a uv led in the middle of your photon to make your coolant radioactive.

there are 2 LED holes.

@aigomorla

What do you use for a drain in your system? Do you do something like @dlerious ?

A drain valve like this, and a bleed port on my radiator mounted up top.

However you could just empty your res, fill / run system for a bit / empty res again / fill / run once more / empty res once again / run to do a decent flush for a quick flush.

Although i suggest you use straight distilled until the last refill.

@Markfw you can probably install the same ball valve at the bottom where your tube bends and goes to the rear.
You would use a T fitting as a coupler, and then on the 3rd side install a valve or some sort.
If you want to keep it clean, you can also install that T in the radiator side.

But you want to keep it at the lowest point in your system and close to the res.
