You don't think that he is getting ready to upgrade to XP 64 bits and will like to know how to set it up?
Pleaseee, give a break with all the "google this, search that" stuff.

We can tell you to search but you probably won't (since you clearly haven't already).
We can tell you to leave it system managed, but then you'll say something about how you read some website that had a magic formula for the perfect pagefile size.
Then Nothinman or n0cmonkey will point out that few people know what they're talking about when it comes to pagefiles and virtual memory.
Then some n00blet will come in insisting that he knows the ideal pagefile settings.
In the end the thread will die and someone else will start the cycle over in about a day.

You guys don't get it and I'm sorry I did not explain fully. I have seen the articles in here and have done research on it, but I didn't like what I was seeing. so I made another post to try and drum up some more talk on the subject, but I didn't expect people to treat me rude.

MrChad so who said you had to answer this post, or look at it, did I? No you made a choice to come to my post so if you do, then please act respectable. I'm not a kid, nobody forced you into anything, or made you do something against your will. It was your free choice. If you're bothered then it's your own fault, so please don't come around my threads pissing anymore, have respect for a man, because that is what I am and I'll respect you like one too, if you act like one.
THANKS

So what if it's been done to death, 280+ views shows he's not the only one interested.
I thought this was a place to come for help & other opinions but he's being told to go elsewhere.
Some folks don't have time to read through page after page of tripe like this to find an answer & like he said if you don't have something to ADD then you should butt out.
It's not YOUR forum or YOUR bandwidth. If you guys crap on every repeated subject thread you see it must keep you very busy working on your superiority complex.
OP: I think windows has to see a page file but you could set it low & make min, max the same.

Just to keep Windows & Mr. Fox from worrying about it.

Well for the first time ever I placed it on letting Windows manage it, now I'm not sure how these two could be related, but this happened right when I did this.
If for example I take a screenshot with the "Print Screen" key and then paste it into "Paint" then save it as a jpg, THEN when I'm done with this picture throw it away and go through this process all over making and pasting another picture as a jpg the previous one shows up in the save window. Now forgetting I threw it away I click on it, Windows asks if you want to overwrite it and I say yes, then I get another pop saying there was a sharing violation and then I click that and save it.
So it's still showing previous deleted files as if they where still there, what's causing this?
THANKS
