I have a 6 month old 2GB Sandisk Cruzer Titanium that has some issues. It lights up when I plug it into a USB port, but Windows (2K, XP, Vista) say "Unrecognized Device" and can't load the drivers for it. I've tried alot of things to try recover the drive (HP Utility, Windows Disk Management, Apple Mac, Ubuntu, etc.) but since I have a backup of my data I don't mind losing any stuff that's on there now. Since I can RMA the dang thing, I want to be sure my data is wiped clean before sending it back.
I can't get windows to mount the drive so that I can reformat it. What else can I do to be sure the data is gone before sending it back to Sandisk? Thanks.
