I've purchased one of the 2GB USB units last time. IIRC shipping was around $2 or so (mailed First Class in padded envelope). One thing I don't like about this flash drive is the cap for the end - it clips in and is tough to pull off without feeling like something will break. Not a deal breaker at this price though.

If you just want storage with lotsa space, then great deal. My only problem was that the cap is kinda hard to get off and that the hole at the end to attach a string isn't as sturdy and I've had one actually break off. That's from general storage in my jean pockets.

Yeah, it's back again. Online and instore. For instore, you need the coupon that Microcenter emails to people on their emailing list. The instore coupon says good from 1-25 to 1-28-07.

I don't know about the 2GB drive but 1GB is NOT Vista ReadyBoost compatible.

From the 2 reviews of ReadyBoost, with actual tests, it was not an impressive improvement if any. There were very minor increases in performance and a few areas where it had a huge decrease in performance.
