I also had a credit in my account so it was actually $4 for 2 movie tickets.

The small print says it will cover entire ticket price including the fandango fees up to $15.

Tickets for me are usually $10 each.

haha.... I never use fandango because of the extra fees. I'm curious how they work out these deals w\ ' living social '. This deal has already sold 413,779. If all of those were $9 that's $3.7M. So... it's a good way to get quick cash for them.

I would assume so. I'm not sure how living social works though... They are supposed to email some sort of voucher or coupon code in a couple days for use on fandango's site.

The only thing I dont like is the fact that you supposedly have to use both tickets for the same movie at the same time. That is kind of bleh. I wonder how they check for this. Perhaps the code is a two ticket code or something. Does anyone know if there is a way to bypass that? I wanted to use them for two different movies for myself.

location don't matter, i bought Nordstrom deal for Miami and used it in Los Angeles.

Promo Codes expire June 6th, 2011. Paid value of Promo Codes expires on June 6th, 2016

I think this means that you must use it by June 6th to get the two tickets otherwise, you just get $9 in Fandango credit.

If you don't think you can use the tickets in time you can try placing an order for a movie and just tell the theater you can't make the movie. You can ask for a refund giving up the fandango fee or you can ask them for 2 vouchers. They'd rather get some money from you than nothing I guess.

Sometimes they have promos on fandango using discover card. Buy tickets for $5 or something to a specific movie coming out. I think you can use the same method to switch the tickets for a different movie.

That was kind of my idea of how to use the tickets on two separate movies than two at the same one. I think I am going to get both and make an excuse on the second ticket and get a voucher for another day. I dont see why that wouldnt work. I want to use both for myself. That should work right?

I had high expectations for the Alien invasion movie "Skyline" last year. What a piece of shit that turned out to be.

Yeah but to be fair, you cant make assumptions based on a previous experience heh. There were so many bad movies in the past couple years, I tend to wait for initial reviews to come out on imdb before I go to the theater. Yeah, I had thought skyline was going to be good, then the reviews came out and it was pretty bad. I am hoping battle los angeles will be decent. It looks better but who knows....
