Wow, just checked out some numbers and it was REALLY REALLY close. We were spared by like the length of a marathon. The storm never made that final push to the north and it topped out about 25-27 miles further south. So Long Island got hammered, areas in central Long Island got the 18"+ that we were supposed to get.
