This may not be a groundbreaking overclock, but for me, it is
My old 1.8A Northwood was totally unstable recently, after having it overclocked to 2.4 for about 1.5 years. I thing the high vcore of 1.75V damaged something. So i decided to put in one of the cheap 2.66B's and maybe overclock it to 2.8 or 2.9. My greatest fears were not, that the cpu couldn't take more, but that may i845 or my PC2700 RAM wouldn't make it to higher speeds.
But i was very happy, that i can boot at 3.5 GHz and now run Prime95 without errors for over 8 hours now at 3.3 GHz. Another great overclock with an Intel system
I should add, that i have it running at default vcore...
