I first read this as the 3/4 pants girls wear.....when I read they were for you I choked on my chicken salad (no I did not choke my chicken).

3/4 pants period are a really dumb idea. My g/f has a pair once in awhile. The first time she wore them I asked if she was going to NO to help clean up the flood damage. When I saw her face I IMMEDIATELY told her I loved the pants and I was only kidding. She said "Are you serious? Do you really like them?". I just nodded vehemently and said "Oh yeah, they rock!"........I HATE those fvcking pants, but what are you gonna do?

LOL i been wearing those for years. My dad makes fun of me because he said i look like i'm a japanese POW. I never wore athletic pants though, just khakis or PJs that i cut.

Those are too long to be capris, and too short to be clam diggers... they are just cropped pants.

Hmmmm...I have about 3 pairs of 3/4 lengths. One Nike all white ones that I wear down to the gym then take off later, stone type of colour ones that are more casual and then some green ones. They look good to me and when it is hot in the summer in England are comfortable. Quite a lot of guys wear them here but either way I don't give a sh!t what some random people think of what I am wearing .

Didn't realise so many guys here are so against them. An American thing?

I think it is an American thing. Pretty normal to see people wear 3/4 in England when the weather is good.

BTW-I'm a cyclist. I wear body hugging spandex when I ride so it's not like I'm one to care what other people think of my attire but I would NEVER wear capri pants.

I wear skin tight clothes when lifting also as it is more comfortable. I use to commute primarily in 3/4 as I didn't like to roll up my right leg jeans.

Such a big disagreement with you guys and the guys in the UK/ Europe. Oh well my clothes are for me to wear and not someone else.

please don't take what i said as everyone looks bad... most folks that wear them, don't have that much "donfidence" or personal style to pull them off.
Looking at them without thinking what others are going to say about the style of men in the US, they are trendy, and why should guy only have to wear shorts or long pants.
