$3.99 domains at domainsarefree.com. But is namecheap.com better?

I found this as I was surfing on the web to locate a good deal for a domain:

http://www.domainsarefree.com/

I have used Yahoo in the past when they had domains for $1.99 but they raised their price to nearly $10.

There have been considerable people in the past here who have recommended namecheap.com because you can have automatic forwarding of email. Of course, godaddy.com is also good.

Any ideas for cheap domain registrars?

Namecheap, godaddy is ok but namecheap is better. Free whois protection for 1 year.

I would never register at the place you linked. Chances are you wouldn't be able to transfer it.
