3 off duty cops chased me

Airport police have full police powers. However, from the way I understand it, they are encouraged to not enact those powers outside of the airport and might not even have police powers outside of the airport in some cases. A guy I know is a cop at the local airport here, this is according to him.

As for the person who said they thought 411 was for information, it is. I'd have done what the OP did. Call 411 to get the number for the local P.D. dispatch. You'll get a much quicker response that way.

I let a lady cross an intersection. They were behind me, I guess they had to wait 10-15 more seconds to turn right.

So in brief, off duty cops got pissed at you for obeying the law and preceded to harass you for doing so. Lovely.

In any case, I would speak with an attorney, because I would be willing to bet that these cops have already accessed the attorney that is available through their union.

Pursue this issue properly, IA should know about this, and they should take it VERY seriously.

Sounds like may have got the grounds for a pretty good civil lawsuit, but possible problems with proof. It may help if some sort of discipline is given to the police as a result of the incident. I'd see a lawyer.

I am still waiting for an investigator to call me back. Every week I think it's getting closer to some kind of resolve.

Another stupid thing is, I had to APPLY to see the police report. I never heard of that.

The OP is full of shit. There is no way it takes that long to get a report. Especially if you were involved in the incident.

... as long as everything's on the up-and-up at a police station, you would be right. I have personally been involved in a case of police cover-up, where many officers in a town destroyed and covered up evidence in an attempt to hide a pattern of misconduct extending for many years.

If the OP is for real, he needs to get a lawyer.
