This is either a gross price mistake, or these are some of the worst speakers ever made.

this is normal price for this type of unit.. the watts they list is pmpo.. so its just sounds like a lot.

It says the manufacturer is Midiland, but these speakers are not on their web site.

A search turned up a few results. It seems that the manufacturer is BOKA MULTIMEDIA.

Do NOT, i repeat NOT buy these speakers.
They were giving these out a few months back from computer surplus outlet with any purchase, so I bought a USB bracket for $1.99 together with these speakers. They sound HORRIBLE. I went ot Korea the past month and saw these were made there and was selling for around $5 US. Even though they listed PMPO, there's no way it reaches anywhere 500W PMPO, they sound more like 200W PMPOs, comparing crap speakers to crap speakers, so to say.:|

The Response Bandwidth is a key to the sound quality. These speakers are rated @ 110 - 18000hz, which is an indicator of very poor sound quality. Normal speaker rating is 20 - 20000hz. I would not waste my money on these.

They're aren't many speakers that can go as low as 20hz. Sound that gets that low is passed to the subwoofer. I think most comp sub/speaker sets crossover between 50 and 120hz.

Here's another clue, RMS: 3.6W + 1W x 2 , these satellite's are not even able to handle 1 Watt each. RMS rating is higher than the power you can really put into these speakers. 1 Watt of power is below low.

Specs on paper mean absolutely nothing. Often enough idiots judge something on this rating and are not satisfied.

Anyone with a clue would never believe this would support 500 watts max, nevermind RMS.

Do not buy these speakers i have them and they suck a$$. There is no way there are 500 watts the sub is no good and the speakers are the same size as the control panel on my new logitech z-560's. I bought these speakers about a year ago off egay i was wondering why i got them for 99 cents doh. Please don't make the same mistake i did pick up a set of logitech Z-340's there nice they could really pump out the sound in my dorm room. These are junk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
