I've never lifted before in my life. Mid 30's now.
I started 3 weeks ago with a personal trainer showing me the machines.
Been doing 3 times a week, eating good after workouts (high protein), and doing cardio on off days.
Isolated bicep curl Start 50lbs for 3 sets of 10. Yesterday 95 lbs
Lat pull down Start 75lbs - yesterday 135 lbs
Military press machine - start 65lbs - yesterday 95lbs
abdominal machine - start no lbs - just body weight - yesterday 70 lbs
Pushups - correct form - start 0 (did pushups on the balance ball with assist till I could go on my own) yesterday 11 without ball. my weight is 237lbs now
Handing leg curls - start 5 - yesterday 30.
Leg press - Start 300 - yesterday 350
Dumbell reclined chest press - start 20lb dumbells - yesterday 35 lbs dumbells
Burpees with pushup - start 0 - yesterday 12.
Wall squats with ball behind me - start - body weight - yesterday 25lb dumbell in each hand.
Bench 1 armed rows - start 25 lb dumbell - yesterday 40lb dumbells
Thats not everything - but that gives you the kind of idea of what a mid thirties never lifted before can suddenly do. Figured it might be of interest to someone.
