I'm tired of paying the salaries of all the law enforcement involved in crap like this. I'm tired of paying for the courts and judges, and the cost of imprisoning people for thought crimes.

As if the war on drugs wasn't bad enough, now we have a war on art we don't like.

The Constitution's been shit on so many times it's a fuckin' joke. You see people on these boards begging for abuse, and we should all be on the right side of the bell curve. It's disgusting, and discouraging...

it doesn't even have to be fictitious, you can have images or videos of actual deaths and be ok. I don't even know how many 'Faces of Death' tapes I had watched in the late '80s and early '90s.

Ah actually there is no other option. As sick as it sounds I don't think you can be "taught" to desire children, it's just something you feel or not. You can't control who you are attracted to, I wish more people would get this through their heads.

As far as the guy is concerned he didn't actually do anything and still got fucked over. If he really wanted to harm someone he could have done a lot worse then draw a picture.

I don't necessarily agree with the verdict, though I'm sure there is good reason he plead guilty to a charge like that.

sure, the reason is.....guilty plea = 3 years. not pleading and risking a conviction even if you beleive you arent in the wrong, 10-20 years in jail

this is the real truth, and nobody ever talks about it. "oh, he hit on a 15 year old! how sick!"

well, no, its not. not biologically anyway. sure, as a developed civilization we understand the consequences of what can easily happen, so the laws we have in place do make sense... but dont sit there and think people are "sick" just because the law infers they are.

There is no way in hell I would send him to prison for more than a few months, if even that.

There is no victim; no harm was done.

This is close to punishing thought crimes.
