Welp, here's my 2 cents...
I've been around here for a pretty long time now. And I see no problem with the whole coupon thingie. So some of us got carried away with the multiple coupons at St@ples. These companies are more than happy to have an order placed with a coupon rather than no order at all. With that being said, we are doing the companies a great injustice by NOT posting coupons and bringing them more sales. Half of what I order with a coupon I would have never ordered without some sort of coupon. Do you think the company is happy that I ordered it then? You're damn right they are. Why are they happy? Because they made money. Don't think for a minute that a company has posted or released to the public something that will hurt there bottom line. So, with the posting of the coupons, the companies are making money that they might not have otherwise.
When coupons were posted here there was an enormous amount of traffic to the forums, alot more than what is here now. Which would boost the bottom line to anandtech, who then also wins. It's a win-win-win situation; the company, anandtech and the customer. Seems kinda silly with the present state. People goto other sites to look for coupons and still use them, the only one who doesn't win is anandtech.
