All Mopars since 1958 were unibody, not full frame. Torsion bars too, not those pansy @ss coil springs.Originally posted by: Ornery
Once upon a time, big-ass land barges were the norm, and little poopers were rare. We had the occasional VW Beetle and Corvair, maybe a Falcon or Nova here and there, but the rest of the population was driving V8, RWD, full framed muscle cars, 4dr sedans, and beefy wagons that could swallow 4'x8' sheets of plywood with the rear door closed! Not to mention hauling a trailer once in a while, with 6 people and legroom to spare. Damn, it sure was nice being able to get at every part of that V8 under the hood, without scraping all the skin off the backs of your hands. With any luck, that Magnum will grow up a bit, and replace some of these minivans and SUVs. Who wouldn't want that?

This is a tough one. I'd probably go for the scoobie.
I agree that magnum look, esp the grille will look dated. I like the 300C sedan more. Also I don't think in the wagon segment the extra HP is as much of an advantage as AWD.
I also think they appeal to slightly different people. Subaru is for a younger crowd who maybe goes snowboarding or mountainbiking on weekends and uses the AWD for light off roading. Magnum is more for an older crowd who likes the presence and the showcar feel of the Magnum, the big power, but is probably using it as a grocery getter muscle car.
