As part of a giant pallet of stuff I bought, about 30 10' and 12' subs came with it. Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, Fosgate. It's easy to tell without hooking them up that half are blown, so I assume they all are. Should I just toss em in the trash, or does someone recycle them, either to rebuild, or just to remove the giant magnets they have?

How can you tell they are blown? Are the cones broken or something? ANyway why would you just throw them away. They are full of cool stuff like magnets, and the steel can be recycled.

magnet, voice coils, and dome can be repair. There are paper cone/rubber surround repair kits that can be had for less than $20 a pair.

They either have ripped cones, ripped surrounds, or else when you try to move them, thet either don't move, move all around, make a scratching noise, or make a popping noise. There may be 1 or 2 that don't do any of this.

Also got a few dead printers, boom boxes microwaves and other junk. Last year when I looked for a place to recycle a dead monitor I had, I never found anywhere.

That would be a common trade brand of non metallic sheathed electrical cable used in houses, for example.

It's like saying get a kleenex instead of a tissue.
