30 CD-R at Circuit City, Free after rebate

im gonna pass on this deal because a few months ago when cc had a 30 pack of TDK cdrs for free after 2 MIRs, i never recieved them...

i picked up the 200 cds deal for 10$ at CC and i have a total of about 270 blank cds now.. so i think i'll stay away from this one.. good deal though. =)

CC's 200 cdrs sucks. very hard to burn it. 2 of 3 cdrs failed.

OM has 50 packs of K-Hypermedia 80/700 16x for $8.99

Picked up 6 of 'em. Always worked well for me.

Yes.. I will second the K Hypermedia deal. I bought 2 packs and they look to be of a lot better quality than the CC or CompUSA brand CDR's. I've burned about 10 disc's and all is fine so far.

What turned me off to the CC cdr's is the fact that you could see rough edges on the cdr's through the plastic. I wouldn't use these for anything other than making music mixes for your portables that you don't plan on keeping very long.

BTW.. Anybody have an idea who makes the CC media?
