No go at best buy in White Marsh MD. $15 off Soccer Slam and Monkey Ball. Not too big of a loss though since I've wanted the games for a while.

Not regional. IT's national. Here's the sum of the entire incident:
May 19, Best Buy ad showed $15 off 2 games or $30 off 3 games. What happened instead was $15 off each game when you buy 2 games. Also, a bunch of the games were ALREADY marked down to $9.99 which was also a mistake. It apparently has been fixed.

May 21, ALL THE $9.99 games are BACK to $19.99 . $15 off 2 games, $30 off 3 games. The hottest deal now would be getting 3 of the $19.99 games and getting $30 off of that. Here's what I got yesterday.

FREE. I walked right out the door with 0 cents on my receipt

Yup, deal is dead in West Covina, CA. Tried to get RE and NBA2K2 and only got $15 off. Sigh, I think I'm gonna go return both of these games now, since I already own RE. Sigh.

I picked up Rogue Leader and Super Monkey Ball. ~$32 and ~$22 respectively. Still not bad but it would've been quite the deal if it were $15 off each.

That sucks. I was hoping nintendo would mark down games faster. RE and Smash Bros. are the only games I would recommend for the GC. Although NBA 2k2 and FIFA 02 look sweet. Cant wait for Zelda, Starfox, and Metroid. Even Mario Party for the GC gives me the chills. BUY THE DAMN SYSTEM NOW. ITS A GOOD BUY.

I can confirm that as of today, 5/22, the "glitch" has been fixed.

I should have went yesterday... sigh oh well.

I tried buying Smash Bros. and Resident Evil today and it seems that they only took off $15 out of the whole price... it's still not a bad deal but I wish I could have gotten another $15 bucks off.
I still ended up buying it tho... I wish my console would arrive soon.

I went to SEVERAL bestbuys,
picked up a total of 8 games (4*NFL QB Club 2002 and 4*Dark Summit)
for a total of 21$ (after tax)

I emptied the stores in the Woodlands, TX and Greenspoint Mall, Houston, TX.
(Might save some of you a trip)

I got the stuff on eaby already, too! :-D
Anyone wants some games :-D


By the way, i tried the BB in Humble, TX and they blew me off, stating
the promotion is only valid on 19.99$ games or higher.
