This is what they say about using codes on certificates:

"Coupon/discount codes may not be used to purchase a gift certificate"

So I guess it will not work or am I wrong.

The deal at the B&M was for a few days, it's over.

I have received WRITTEN confirmation from Footlocker that my orders are being processed at the price with the discount plus $2 for shipping and 7 cents for tax.

They can only cancel the order, they can't charge a higher price and send them out. If they do, I will dispute the difference with my credit card company and send them copies of my documatation and have them charge it back. Once it is charged back, they can't do anything but appeal it.

For all we know, they may want this to occur, maybe they are having a promotion for special customers like us.

They're probably going to send it out without telling you that they are charging me full price. I tried to dispute when they screwed me for a pair of shoes, but my CC company tried to dissuade me from taking such actions...

I just got a call from Footlocker. They wanted to confirm that I had ordered the gift certificates because they had a different shipping and billing address.

I asked what they charged me for them and they said "$102.00 each."

I told the CSR that I had ordered and recieved confirmation that the price for each $100.00 gift certificate was $72.17.

She went to check and came back and said, "You're right, you were only charged $72.17."

No you don't have to be called, I was only called because they wanted to confirm which address I wanted to have it sent. I had to use two addresses because my bills for my credit card go to a P.O. Box, and most online stores won't ship to P.O. Boxes. These guys do.

Yes JC's are allowed to sign up. In fact, you can also sign up for the edu.com deal, you'll see it at the Student Advantage site. When you sign up for with edu.com, you'll be given 2 - $25 coupons.
