"Gift certificates are not redeemable in our retail stores. "

You may be wasting your 2 dollars in shipping costs , and this certificate may be usable only at the website!? You are better off getting the emailed gift certificate. Correct me if I am wrong..

That's strange, when I ordered them I was given the option to have them emailed or shipped and assumed that since I could buy them as a gift for my nephew with his name on them that he would be able to buy shoes at the store. I'll post the results when I receive them, which should not be too much longer.

Go to a B&M. Pick out your shoes, incuding those with a discount. Pay by giving them your gift certificate and pull out your Student Advantage card. A gift certificate is like cash, isn't it? Someone bought it with cash, didn't they? Then you should be able to get the 15% discount.

I canceled my order for the certificates after Mihir found that policy. So you are able to use these Certificates at the b&m store even if there site says you can't?(We already proved them wrong with the code usage) Someone ever use these at a b&m Footlocker and they accepted it?

I got my 30% off gift certificates and immediately tried to buy more with the gift certificates. That dodn't work and neither did trying to buy more from Footlocker, so I guess it's all over.

You buy shoes online. You don't use them, but you take them to a B&M and return them. Then you buy something more expensive and use the Student Advantage card for a 15% discount.

Nothing illegal about it, I guess you have to pay shipping, but is this something that should not be posted?

i tried to buy a GC last time and it lets you buy it on the site but you'll never actually get it... save yourself the hassle and the money by just using it on a pair of "on sale" shoes at the B&M


did any of you actually receive the gift certificate and a $70 charge on your card? i got a confirmation also but they never sent it...

I got actual certificates, but they are for online only.

I really don't see a problem, these will work just fine, and I'll get extra savings on sales, which I don't have time to hang out at malls to find out about.
