sorry fellas, but there's a big difference between spending money on stuff that has inherent value (e.g. a $300 video card), and spending money on something whose value is only derived from its price (e.g. a $300 purse). Three benjamins on a video card is all right because it has better performance than a $30 video card. Three benjamins on a purse is stupid because it's no better than a $30 purse.

the biyatch can like the bling-bling, and because of that, you may be gettin paid and thinking you're stepping tall, but that doesn't keep the person who wanted the kate spade from being a damn fool.

Whoa. Someone find wolfnap a soapbox or an economics textbook because he's going off! Here's my take: value is derived only from the perspective of the individual -- the happiness, enjoyment, or productivity he or she gets from actually consuming the product. If someone is getting the equivalent quantifiable happiness, enjoyment, or productivity from a Kate Spade purse as another person from the $300 video card, it's the same damn thing!

I don't know what kind of agenda you're pushing, but I talked to your girlfriend last night and she wants a Kate Spade bag. If you don't get her one, I will.
