However I appreciate that the re-poster acknowledged that and called everyone's attention to the fact that you can buy gaming consoles at Virgin Megastores---just the kind of hot deal I hoped would emerge from my post. Since the nearest store is about 4 hours from me, I have no idea what sort of stuff they carry.

Thanks ktg, after I saw this I ran out to the local Virgin Megastore and purchased 4 XBOX and PS2 videogames. It was like buying 3 and getting one free! They were sold out of all 3 consoles but were expecting more soon. The clerk said someone bought 12 PS2's (imagine, a PS2 or XBOX for $210).

I also read over on FW that if you go and spend $50 you will get a coupon booklet full of coupons that start on 12/26. One of the coupons is $25 off $100 so on the 26th you should be abel to use both the Amex Blue 30% off and the coupon.

Even better deals can be had that way.

Yeah, there is a coupon book that has some sweet coupons! 5 off 30, 10 off 50, 4 off a cd, book, 5 off a game, vhs, dvd. Too bad this isn't going on with the 30% off with the amex blue! Coupons start 12/26, and the 30% off ends 12/26, so does that mean that there is one day of overlapping?
