Got this from F**wallet.
LINK

There is a 90 days warranty on this product. I used my BLUE card to double that warranty.
Nothing but good reviews from Amazon

Oh and don't tell me about Conns or whatever.....most of us don't live in Texas

This is a FLAMING deal! I jumped on this yesterday. Judging by the quantity of units, these are likely overstock/closeout and not repaired/damaged items. We'll see when I get my set in a few weeks.

I absolutely agreed.
I was tempted by BB last week as they had it for $849 - 10% but it was too big for my car to take it home.
Ordered mine yesterday so I'm excited too.

wow, a great deal, esp considering that shipping is included. I paid more than 300 for my 27 crt tube. Too bad I have no way of actually receiving this package, since I live in an apt, and no one is at home during the day.

There's a link on fatwallet on this dealer selling the products on eBay. The original account got quite a bit of negative feedback that sorta has "SCAM" labeled on it. The current ID they use seem to be clean though. Make your own judgement on this one!

Yeah, I'm gonna have to figure out how I'll receive this too. I tried and tried to have it shipped to an alternate address, but was denied every time. I finally gave up and just had it shipped to my house. Maybe I can request a Saturday delivery or something?

I was persuaded by the new, clean account with great feedback. Had there only been the old account, I would have never considered ordering. The 90 day warranty and the fact they are an authorized Philips dealer is nice also. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Depends on how it is being shipped but, if it will fit in your car/truck then you might be able to arrage a pick up.

This is a heckof a deal if this is legit.

Yeah I got this from Fatwallet but I didn't read into the ebay thing.
What does the guy from Ebay has anything do to with this place ?? Is he a representative from this place ??
This place has been around for a while and looks 100% legit so I ordered it.

Oh, I believe the delivery guys will call you to arrange delivery so I hope you gave them a valid phone number.

Sorry, but I have to ask my usual stupid question. Some day I'm going to learn enough about TVs to answer this myself, but till then...

Would this make a descent computer monitor? I have an AIW 9700Pro, and I want a TV or giant monitor for my living room entertainment center. I don't want two devices, but one that will do double duty. Right now I have a 19" Sony monitor, but from accross the room, it is hard to watch movies or watch TV on. I would like something larger.

Don't think any TV will make a good monitor for normal use. It'll be fine for games and movies, if that is all you're planning to use it for, but I'll imagine that you'll have frequent eye strain if you're using anything that involves a lot of text. Just think of the difference between a 20" dell that run at 1600x1200 and this 30" tv that runs at max 1024i. Does the ATI have a max resolution for tv out?

It supports 1080i and the AIW 9700pro supports and also outputs 1080i using its native component output. At 1080i or 480p, the overscan is a little much with the Radeon for a desktop with my particular display, but using the new Center View Timing support in the latest Cat drivers, it will place a 1280x1024, or 1280x960 desktop nicely in a 5:4 or 4:3 box on the 16:9 display with black bars on the side. With powerstrip and the guides at AVS forums, you could also map custom timings onto it. So, it is possible to use it the way you want perhaps. The price looks to be a good deal to me.

Wow nice deal. I wish I hadn't bought my 26" widescreen HDTV Samsung for the same price last month!

Since ElectronicsNation.com is incorporated in the state of Ohio, it must (by law) charge applicable sales tax at the rate of 6.5% to all Ohio residents. However, if you live outside the state of Ohio no sales tax will be charged.

California residents must pay sales tax dependent on the county of residence, as dictated by California state law.

So i'm in CA and I have to pay tax for this thing, right?

It appears so. You could email them and ask. They usually respond very quickly.

actually this has been around for awhile...

They sell these on eBay all the time them and 2 other outfits that are Phillips autherized dealers. It looks like they used to drop ship from another location but I do not know about now. Not alot of feedback on ebay though.
they had 32" HDTV's but not widescreen I almost bought around Christmas but didn't due to $ reasons. it is a fun TV to play with remember no DVI though.

I just returned the one I got from BB since the picture was terrible. You could see scan lines through the picture. I tried calibrating it with the AVia DVD and it would not come in. Further investigation on the avsforums shows that the power supply is too weak for the unit. Maybe these refurbs have a better power supply.
