Found this 300 label kit for $9.95 free shipping at Overstock.com.. they are gold labels though not white but still it's a pretty good deal for laser printer labels.
If this is a repost sorry but I looked before I posted it.

Great find... the applicator probably isn't as good as the "Stomper" but these labels are usually a lot more expensive. Thanks.

Guys, can someone please explain the difference between White and Gold and/or laser/inkjet labels, maybe direct me to a site? Thanks!

I'm in. I just bought my first burner not long ago and have been writing on CDs with a permanent marker. But this seems better.

Tomcat, what do you mean for those that can use Gold labels? Any difference between white and gold labels other than preference/need?

Sorry, this is a crap deal. These are the Smart & Friendly
label "kits". CompUSA had these for $9.99 each a while back, in
both gold (which is intended only for laser printer--supposedly
the ink adsorption characteristics of the gold labels are poor)
and white.

Here's what you get: 150 x 2 labels/sheet labels. These labels
are on sheets approximately 4.5" x 10". That is, not standard
size. Not half standard size, either. Most label printing programs
won't exactly accomodate this size. Even SureThing, which
accomodates just about everything. You can get close, but not
exact.

ALSO, each page ONLY has the labels. The paper that would normally
surround the labels isn't there. So if you print beyond the label,
you're printing on wax paper. Not great for your print heads.
ALSO the labels aren't as large as the surface of a CD. A small part
of the CD surface at the edge will stick out beyond the label.
(Not great for protection). ALSO, the labels tend to bubble
very easily if used in, say, a car. Much more easily than any
other labels I've used.

As for that labeling program: It's some total piece of merde
on a FLOPPY DISK. Yeah, kids, remember when programs came on
floppy. This is one. Old and crap. And the applicator, if you can
call it that, is a small spindle that sits in the middle of the CD.

Bottom line: I'd buy the gold labels ONLY if you have a LASER printer,
have another program for making labels and have a tool for applying
labels. AND only if you plan on using the labels for CDs you'll
be keeping exclusively in a temperature/humidity controlled
environment.

As usual, "deals" at Overstock.com aren't. IMHO, Overstock generally
sucks. They either sell crap, or they sell OK stuff at prices I
can beat elsewhere. Occasionally a gem surfaces, but not often
enough to even check.

Picked up a pack - thanks!

I'm looking at these more as a protective thing, rather than cosmetic. Sure, whites that I could print in my inkjet would be nicer, but I don't mind running some of these through the old laser.

$0.03/ea. is a hard deal to pass up. Has anyone other than Kwadguy used these?

Thanks for your post Kwadguy. Now I'm only considering this deal, I would have jumped on it before.

I saw these on clearance at CompUSA and thought about them, but the half-sheet size and need for a laser printer turned me off on them.

When Outpost had 100 packs of Stomper labels for $12.95, I used to buy those, but now they're at $19.95. I thought about buying some on egay, but I did a pricewatch search and found Meritline. They've got 200 CD labels for $9.00 + shipping. I bought two packs of labels and a couple Epson color cartridges for $7.00 each, and shipping was about $6.00. The labels use a layout similar to the Stompers, but the "extra" square labels are cut the long way instead of the short way. I've gone through about 75 of them so far and been happy with the quality (especially at the price!). I haven't used the ink yet, but at $7 a cartridge they were still a quarter of the price I've paid for compatibles at Staples. So even if they're only half as good, I'm still ahead.

Anyway, this place uses a Yahoo! storefront, so use the Yahoo! wallet for protection. I think I saw a yahoo! wallet discount link on another board recently, but I might be mentally confusing it with the MSN wallet. It took them about a day and a half to ship my order, but they did provide a UPS number in the confirmation email.

BTW, has anyone ever seen labels that go all the way to the center hole? I've been looking for them, but I've only seen them for mini CDs and business card CDs.

These are very good if you have a laser printer like me.. tho there was a deal similar to this one with white labels posted a while back on f@twallet that I bought.. I see that you mentioned CompUSA and I remember them having those on clearance but I didn't have access to a laser printer then.. they're better than no label especially if you have hundreds of cdr's like the CrapUSA ones and just now the Prime Peripheral ones..
