I was just looking at this too. Anyone know if it would have a vertical or horizontally mounted power supply?

Couldn't find any cases for $33 no rebates and with shipping, wouldn't your case cost OVER $50.00? Guess what I'm saying, is that if you put down a hot deal, at least back it up with a link or something better than. "on the internet I found one for less money!". Or if it wasn't a putdown, there is a brag and moan forum.
AND on a different note $19.00 for a 300 wat PSU seems like a REAL good deal.

The case is tempting....has anyone had any experience with it? Is it AMD recommended?

hmm... the only turbo case I saw at www.totalpcetc.com is priced at $43 which includes the 320W p/s.

Is this is same one?

Turbo Case

oops, my bad.

There are two Turbo Cases, the black colored one is $43 while the beige colored one is $33.

Just came back from compusa. This case is said to "support" the AMD athlon processor, but does not say AMD recommended anywhere. Proceed with caution.

Me and my friend both bought CompUSA cases a while back. BOTH powersupplies failed withen 3 months. We bought them in June. Mine failed in July, and his in August. Personally, I don't feel this is a hot deal.

I bought my mom this case when I built here comp. Power supply failed within six months. Looks like it's an epidemic

I'm glad I read this before I went and bought one. I guess it would be better to pay another $15 and get a name brand cheap a$$ case.

Just curious though...does the power supply have the P4 plug?

I had also bought one of the FMI cases @ Comp USA. Tho power supply failed in about 2 months (they did replace it though). My next case was an Antec - no problems!

Just got PS - I needed one anyway for old PC, $20 is not bad.
Made by "four star inc." it comes with ATX 2.03 spec with ATX12V and Aux 3.3V connectors and PS fan sensor.
I was surprized, that it has only 20A on 5V - my old 250W had 27A, but it is still within ATX spec, giving total 146Watts on 5V and 3.3V together.
12V source has 14A capacity (within ATX 2.03 spec).

So how is that Turbo case? I can't find any pics of it other than the outside view of it.
What's it like inside? Removable sides? etc etc. Thanks!

Yeah, I usually don't say anything bad about a good deal on a case but... if they're using the same PS from when I bought one. Mine went bad inside of 2 months.... and I know 2 other people whose went bad inside of 6 months.

If you're going to get in on this deal, I recommend having a replacement power supply on hand.

yes. vertical, no space for real fan (unless you mod and make it yourself) --> not a AMD design (they call for front and real fan)

My power supply is also mounted horizontal, and there is room for both a front and rear fan. Different cases???
