retail and boxed are the same .
Go with the 3000+, as mentioned, the 10x multi is useless because the HTT on A64 boards clocks so high. Use the extra money to get something that WILL make a difference, such as a good video card (6800GT, etc.). In your other thread you mentioned getting value RAM which is an excellent choice. Use dividers and multipliers to get the performance that you want, and use the money you save to go up to the next platform of performance, like getting a good DFI mobo or a high end graphics card.

I've already ordered the 6600GT...well, the 6800GT is like twice as expensive anyway, we're talking $500 and more. If I move to the US, I can use stores like Newegg, but until then it's just too expensive.

What's a DFI board? I have a lot of catchin up to do, been outside of the hardware arena for a long time.

DFI is a motherboard manufacturer that has become known for its great overclocking boards. It's recent board featuring the NF4 chipset is, supposedly, the best mobo out there to overclock a S939 winchester. It has many extra settings, voltage ranges, multipliers, etc etc that really help when it comes to overclocking. That board should help you overclock a 3000+ easily :thumbsup:

they are all good, some 3000+ can also oc to FX55 or more
