So much of the past has been focused on the prerogative of others but not my own.
I was so engrossed in the test that I saw no one cheat. I only heard. I repeated. I digested. I sulked in the putrid reality that are the lives of these people that I thought were my friends so much so that I lost sight of my goal, if but for an instant, but for one instant too many.

Moving on is a sign of weakness I know, but I must.

I too have sinned and must respect that the master of the house will do what is right this time around.

Why?

In a sea of weeds, If I want a ____ to bloom as beautifully as can be, to do that I must first focus on defining clearly that which I serve to protect...

People cheat all the time because now it is such a competition for the best grades that it doesn't even matter if you know anytihng or not. Sadly there is no way around it because if you decide to just take whatever grade you "earn" then you won't get a nice scholarship or any awards.

It sucks but whatever its become so much of a game now it doesn't even matter to me anymore.

Create a hotmail address. Call it "Engineering 107 finals cheaters@hotmail.com" or whatever.

In the e-mail explain that you are in the class but wish to remain annonymous for obvious reasons. Name names... Then explain in detail how the rest of the class cheated and copy/paste (or maybe clean it up a bit) what you just wrote here.

Your name stays out of it and the prof knows.

After that, it's up to the prof.

Me? I'm not shy about that stuff. I'd just tell the prof.

I think the most hurtful aspect of all of this is that I take the time to put up notes to help everyone out (originally like 8o students)

the teacher didn't even endorse it until half-way through the term. I am doing it on my own....no extra credit...for all, including myself to benefit from

and to learn that they used my work to cheat....

urgh....I feel so violated...

I think I could get over people cheating and scoring better than my honest best-effort, but if the cheated with MY WEBSITE?! OH HELL NO. I wouldn't want any connection with that BS and I surely wouldn't help them anymore. Obviously they don't need help if all they're going to do is cheat anyway.

College? Report it. Without academic honesty, your degree is worth nothing. If this was high school that would be one thing, but cheating in college should mean automatic expulsion.

I like this idea! If the prof is smart they'll probably respond by having an unscheduled re-test, and the folks who cheated the first time will probably get screwed.

Seriously. I've had people fail classes when it was FREAKING HARD while I got a well earned B and then they retook it and got an A when the prof wussied out (didn't have tenure). No one knows that they failed. It SUCKS.



Also, on our last exam, people were cheating like crazy aroudn me (pulling out notes during the exam and crap). But I ended up failing with a higher grade then them anyways.

Cheaters can go to hell!

they all got grades high enough to opt-out of the final...and most of them already downloaded all the sh!t anyway

Laplace transforms are easy you just look up the transforms on your cheat sheet and make the required substitutions.

EDIT: Crap you are already in college I didn't realise that. In that case yes, report it! College pretty much determines your future, so don't let this crap get out of hand. I though you were in highschool! College is alot different, don't let them cheat off of you man. That sh!t is cheap.

How did they cheat if it's problem solving. Unless you're professor used same problems from hw or something.
