Cheer up then. Experience will eventually phase out grades anyways (especially when that C wasn't even for your course grade).

Yeah, but they were able to steal answers during the exam. I can't even imagine how that would be possible unless she left the solutions sitting on her desk and stepped out.

I once tutored a civil engineer in math for his masters..said he needed help in calc2
he didn't know it...
reverted to calc I material...
he didn't know it...
and so on...
iirc, I ended up reteaching him the equation of a line or of an exponential function or something....

Like I said, and am not ashamed to admit it anymore, I am behind, but I'm truckin'....grinding my way to where I need to be....
I'll admit, the exam was tricky (laplace transforms are SOOOOO long) but it didn't justify this...

didn't report it because I was just...sort of in shock..amazed that....didn't think people were that low...that pathetic....and these are supposed to be my friends.
Everyone has told me to keep it to myself (including mentors), citing the fact that they will eventually get royally fvked in the future (after they rack up student loans), but it still leaves me in a state of perturbation ...
we are supposed to be engineers...proud learners....not this horse sh!t....
to make matters worse, I even run a website that serves two entire classes with the past days notes (egr251.wisetyro.com) and while everyone thanked me deeply for it, even more praises today, they still fvking have the audacity to cheat and then thank me....turns out they use lappys and have it loaded....
FVK FVK FVK.....
and they are suppsoed to be friends....
I say fvk them all...
fvkign sh!ts
*punches the wall*
I take but such small comfort in the fact that my "C" was an honest one...mentors boosted my moral a little...
but...damn....FVK!
I have a history of struggling in this field due to personal problems affecting my studies and have never succumbed to this brazen disrespect for such a .....
and I feel so ashamed that I am no better than they for not reporting it...I ain't no snitch but damn nit...
I feel so ashamed that if it were to come down to contention for a scholarship I WOULD FVKIGN NAIL THEIR ASSES TO THE FVKING WALL FOR ALL TO SEE AND ADMONISH....
and yet....I sit here..like some pathetic fool, the words of others reverberating in my mind, trying to justify why being a snitch is bad and why I should jsut be happy that my grade was an honest one...
I'm even struggling when it comes to thinking about blowing them off from now on. and not talking to them ever again..
waht the fvk is wrong with me....what am I teaching those that I mentor

*mumbles incoherent nothings to himself as he prepares to study for another exam*
edit: obligatory: and no I don't own a gun and won't blah blah blah...I am jsut pissed off as I should be...

Are you shitting me?
That was my Circuit Analysis professor when I took the course at a local community college over the summer (before I dropped engineering and transferred to business).
I was just about to post a story about her... still kind of pisses me off. I remember she caught these two kids cheating during an exam, gave them both 0's ... but didn't even kick them from the class, I think they wound up with a C overall.
I was literally in shock, at most universities that would've been grounds for expulsion (they were passing answers back and forth to each other during the exam).
In regards to the cheating itself ... I'm sorry man. It sucks hardcore, and all I can say is they will get theirs later on (especially in EE).
