Here is where the confusion comes in:
1) Which "Page file" am I talking about? Go to System properties, under Advanced, Virtual Memory, "Total paging file size for all drives:" and there is an option for "No paging file" This is what I was talking about.
2) Notice the term change in Windows: The RAM monitor in XP's task manager has "PF" and "Page File Usage History." Notice in Vista it's "Memory" and "Physical Memory."
But people, we are talking about Windows Virtual Memory. What did you think I meant when I said turning virtual memory or paging file off? of course I'm referring to the option in System Properties.
