This is your basic cheapo TV, great for a bedroom or kitchen or wherever. Probably not great quality, but the price is right if you want something inexpensive. Have then been? I saw them on sale back in May, didn't realize they were still $299. I thought they brought the price back. Still $50 cheaper than most other el-cheapie sets I've seen.

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure they've been this price every time I've looked at them for the past couple months. The webpage doesn't mention it's a reduced price either so that's what makes me think this is standard.

Still a decent price for an alright HD set. I have an earlier model of the same thing and it's still going strong despite lots of use after 3 years or so. It has a terrible scaler for SD content, but for modern consoles, HD cable and HD movies (even upscaled DVDs) it looks good for the price.

Dunno, but I currently have this TV and it's decent. I'm not that big of a HD fan, Xbox and streaming works fine with it picture wise.
