I've been checking on these Dell Dimension 2400's for a week or so for a friend.
Multiple posts, but none on this special extra $50, this weekend?

Argh, please don't start a comparison of self built PCs vs Dell PCs. Believe it or not lots of people around here would rather buy a prebuilt PC from Dell with a nice warranty than build their own and go through the hassle of buying their PCs in pieces and parts for sale in FS/FT, putting it together and testing it. Lots of people here also buy these Dells for friends and family who are not tech savy and can call Dell with problems instead of them. So why not just delete your comment and tell the OP that it's a nice deal for people who don't want to built their own. Thanks.

Bump for whoever needs a new system.

You can frequently find very good system deals at Dell in the $400 price range, but it seems to me that the $350 pre-loaded system deals at Dell only happen once every 8 to 12 weeks.

His statement was the equivalent of a thread crap. Every system builder and hot dealer here knows they can build a better system from buying FAR parts from sales. So I could post that I built a better system for $25. Whoopee.

I only mentioned I thought it was a repost since I found an older thread on this same deal a few minutes later. Geez, I was trying to take up for the OP. I typically don't post "repost"s but on the rare occassion that I do, I try to be nice about it unlike some people who just jump in a thread and rudely say "repost".

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR WEEKS FOR SUCH A DEAL!
Usually the 350's from DELL either don't have a floppy or modem or they are Celerons. This has it all. It is the best deal in 6 weeks.
