As noted in the other thread, the new flyer effective as of today no longer lists 3770k as eligible for combo discount.

PS on an unrelated note, does anyone know if combo discount applies if I try to pricematch motherboard to newegg? I'm thinking of getting Asus P8z77 LK and 3570k, but p8z77 LK is $130 at newegg, if I tried to get 3570k with P8z77 LK pricematched to newegg, would they still give combo discount?

EDIT: Looks like MC flyer lists P8Z77 LK as $125 in the flyer? So I wouldn't even have to price match. I guess I'll go to MC and hope they honor the flyer price.

Rofl I edited my post at the same time you replied. Looks like MC flyer lists P8Z77 LK at $125, so as long as MC honors the flyer I'll be good as that's the combo I was looking for.

Bummer. But with the $40 CPU price drop, really it ends up being the same price.

Can verify the 3770K is no longer eligible for the $40 combo deal, but it is definitely only $229.99. However, that is an in-store only price. Ditto for the 3570K at $169.99, in-store only.
But they have some other good deals right now too. I also picked up an Asus P8Z77-V Pro for $199.99, and a Crucial M4 128GB SSD for $85 (AR). Saw a PC Power & Cooling 750W for $79 (AR) ...
