Price: $10. Tax extra. In-store only. I don't usually post food items, but this were selling fast. Should be national deal. YMMV.

a lot of Walmart's seafood is imported from China. I had bought frozen tilapia from there once and it wasn't that good. go to Meijer instead. Buy 1 Get 1 free tilapia ftw!

Shrimp from China??? 'Guess my education is lacking as I've never heard of that (although I've heard of it from other Asian countries).

Good news: I don't see how the Chinese (or anyone) could lace these with Melamine (even my Chinese friends won't buy most mainland China food products now).

The (not so) bad news: 130/36oz = 58-count (/lb) shrimp. These are fine for putting in a curry or salad, but these are pretty small to dip as appetizers. Nevertheless, I've been hankering for a curry so I may pick up a bag.

Thanks OP!

Here's how I heard they farm shrimp in China: the shrimp ponds are located beneath suspended chicken coops. The chicken are fed protein feed(possible melamine?) and then their feces drops into the water to feed the shrimp.

? Meaning: "Because they include cocktail sauce you have to use it"? I don't serve shrimp that small to guests -- hence my observation -- but I do enjoy them in dishes. Have I missed some pithy point in the OP? Or do we have a failure to communicate? Whadeveh... no malice intended on this end.

Well, they do already come as appetizers with dip and they don't come in bags.
