360 audio question

if i hook up hdmi cable to my monitor, how and where do i hook up my headphones to my xbox?

The harddrive size doesn't mean anything as to what's inside the console. The 360 has 2 chips (CPU & GPU) that have been brought down to 65nm, but were done at different times. The best way to tell for sure is by looking at the back side of the console near the port for the A/V cable at the rating on the 12v rail.

From what I remember in order of when they were released:
Xenon - 16.5A - CPU & GPU 90nm
Zephyr - 16.5A - Same as Xenon, but added HDMI
Falcon - 14.2A - CPU 65nm, GPU 80nm
Jasper - 12.1A - CPU 65nm, GPU 65nm

Once the 60GB pro system came out there was a slight change to the Falcon chipset that involved the memory chips, then a few months later Jasper followed.

Falcon rev.1 = 65nm CPU, 80nm die shrunk GPU
Falcon rev.2 = 65nm CPU, 80nm die shrunk GPU, reduced # of memory chips by half and only appear on one side of motherboard now
Jasper = 65nm CPU/GPU and reduced memory chips just like the previous revision.

Also, as hopeless said, they have different power draws and this is listed on the back of your console. As for the audio you may try hooking up your headphones to your monitor if it has an audio port and changing audio output. Hope this helped

Is there any way to make the 360 not send audio via HDMI? I use the 360's optical port to my speaker system and it gets annoying to have to mute my TV every time I play.
