3930k 91C on wake??

This is probably a bug in RealTemp, which has never actually been tested with a SNB-E CPU. If you were actually seeing such temperatures the "Thermal Status" at the bottom wouldn't say "OK". You should post about it on the RealTemp Forums.

Okay... But you still fail to grasp that the symptoms are showing outside of real temp... Does real temp under clock the system if it gets too hot?...

The computer is really slow... I think I've mentioned this fact alot now

Change your power management settings in the bios. Make sure your Windows is fully up to date. There were standby issues when running a system without current updates (prior to SP1)

Do you have an infrared thermometer you can hit on the CPU block while on standby?

Your rig seems to be acting like it is being throttled down, exactly as it is designed to do when it hits Tj-max, which is 91c for your cpu, IIRC. If you weren't using water cooling I'd ask you if you removed the plastic cover from the contact plate. As it is, I would look to your hardware.

well if the system is being throttled down to the lowest clock and the system is really slow, i doubt that it's the realtemp doing that.

there's gotta be other people who can reproduce this with the same mb cpu.

If it's really hitting 91, I don't think anyone wants to try to duplicate that.

It wouldn't take 5 minutes to try HWmonitor..

If it really is hitting 91, then there is a problem with your cooling system for sure..

Yes, sleep causes issues. On my dads 2600k rig it gives diff issues after you wake up,, like internet doesnt work or something like that.

Realtemp is more used for intel processors.

im guessing the proper code for the Diode on your AMD processor isnt reporting properly.

If your processor was really at 91C you can FEEL it... did you try putting your hand near the heat sink and seeing if it was really 91C?

Why must AMD always pick names so close to Intels... :\

Uncleweb probably hasnt updated the Sandy-E diode, and its reporting wrong values....
