HAHAHAHAHA!!! YOU GUYS ARE SO FUNNY!!!! EVERYBODY'S A CRITIC!
J/K. Anyways i would just like to point out the fact, yes Mustangs are flaming fast off the line. But what you have to realize is, its stocked at 240 HP, thats insane. If you wanna compare that to something stock that even comes close, hell consider a 300zx twin turbo, see how you like dem APPLES?! HAHAHA. But folks if it comes down to the engine, theres something called an "ENGINE SWAP," Yes they do exist, and no its not that expensive, roughly $2000 installed if you know ppls. Oh another thing for you those that lack car knowledge, ever heard of cpu tweaking?!?! Yeah just like computers. Configure the chip on most engines, and you've got one hell of a "rice rocket."

I have a Honda Civic HX!!! I swapped engines with a 2000 Honda Odessy, no joke. Yes your thinking who the F*ck wants a frippin van engine? well folks, 220 HP with the computer tweaked to up the ratio in the 1st and 2nd gear, guaranteed an ass whoopin.

LOL.. we pop out a thread about cars we get hundreds of replies.. when we talk about a deal on computers there is much less enthusiasm..

Look at all these conflicting views on cars.. cars are as diverse as the personalities of the people who drive em.. I am a fan of all cars because anything powered by internal combustion be it 2 cylinders or 16 can rock the planet and scare it's share of the local wildlife while using the long dead animals (fossil fuels) as it's power source (the ultimate paradox).. hehe people who spout about environmentalism can be caught driving their Volvos or Hondas on the weekends.. it's all futile until we run out of gasoline or hybrids become mainstream..

As for my preference..
It's all about the Euros baby!!

Hahahahah... This thread is way retarded. The flaming and bragging goes back and forth, back and forth. Geez, don't you think time would be better spent arguing about how to feed all the hungry people in the world?

On a related topic, I drive a 1985 Toyota Corolla. Feels like a tin can, but since I bought it for $1300 and it's still running great after 3 1/2 years, I have nothing but praise. On one of my interviews, I reserved a Ford Escort with Hertz. They didn't have any and gave me a 2001 Mustang. Damn, that thing handled like a tank! Sure it had a nice throaty roar to it, but it drank gas like it still cost 25 cents a gallon. On the other hand, my classmate's Maxima was pretty peppy when I drove it on some mtn roads here in southern CA. What does all this babbling mean (I haven't slept all night and now the sun is rising)?

It means I wasted a good 10 minutes reading this thread. American made cars typically don't have the snappy feel of the imports. Perhaps it's sacrilege to quote Consumer Reports, but I don't think they ever give the Fords high ratings because of reliability problems and also poor handling. Hey, so sue me, I don't know squat about cars...
