3D glasses

HI, I am thinking a pair of 3D glasses. Buy.com has a elsa 3D REVELATOR WIRED GLASSES,But I don't has an elsa card. I have a MSI 815pro gefoce2 pro card. will the glasses work with my card?
My monitor only works at 1024X1280@Hz , is it ok for 3D glasses application

You will find out in time that the novelty will wear off and you wasted your money.

I have an Asus V6800 Geforce DDR Deluxxx which comes with stereorrific goggles. I have never even plugged them in. I believe that you effectively halve your refresh rate with these things so you need a monitor that supports a very high refresh rate (let's say 150Hz) to get a decent stereo refresh rate. I may be FOS, so stereo gaming experts please correct me if I am. I agree that the novelty will wear off. Spend your money on a toy with long term appeal like a really good HSF.

You would need a supported Elsa video card to use those glasses. Better off saving your money anyhow, most people generally find out pretty quickly they prefer gaming without them.

I used these heavily whilst playing Half-Life. There is no comparable experience! At least nothing that jumps to mind. As far as whether it will work or not, if you go to Elsa's site, they do have drivers to make the glasses work with other non-Elsa boards. Very cool!

I will admit that the novelty has worn off somewhat, but I still fire them up occasionally, and still marvel at the 3D...

I set up tried the 3d glasses that came with my Asus 6800 deluxe card and I had the worst headache after a hour of game play. Save your bucks,vision,sanity and forget the whole idea.
