I finally caved and jumped on the personal 3d printing train for odds and ends around the house, as well as for my Warhammer miniatures (a few replacement bits, mostly terrain). I went with a MegaZero just for the low cost of entry, realizing that if I did want to make detailed models or bits, I'd need to jump to an SLA machine.
AnyCubic - Mega (FDM), Photon (Resin), Chiron (FDM)
Creality - Ender 3/5/CR10 (FDM)
The Elegoo Mars is also supposed to be an excellent SLA machine at a similar pricepoint to the Anycubic Photon
There are many more options than just these, so feel free to add in yours in!
