3dmark 2001 se problem

the first time i run the benchmark after i install the program (just the demo version) it works fine and makes it all the way through. anytime after that my system freezes at a black screen after one of the first three tests. anyone have any ideas or know if this is another k7s5a problem?

ecs k7s5a
duron 1.3 ghz
128mb pc133
geforce2 gts-v
enlight 300w (amd approved)

it gets around 3200 the times it finishes.

Remove all extra devices and re-attach and re-test one at a time.
