03 is all about graphics card. If you had 6800U in your rig you could score very close to that.

It is all vid card. You'd never come close to that score w/ a last gen card. My new 6800GT doubled my score. That proxycon demo that used to run like total crap runs at 70+ fps...

My BFG 6800GT OC scores 11200 with a P4 3.4c

I plan on building a system similar to yours very soon. The one in my sig is used by the wife and kid. Now I get to build mine.

On the Ultra's probably the GT's seem to be a bit RAM limited not sure if its voltage or lack of good cooling and since you own a Ultra try it out more than likely you can do it just fine. Soon I'm going to try out some water cooling and get some copper ram sinks and see if that helps my GT out someone on the RAM OC department.

I only get 8200. On my Athlon64 300+ at 2.1 I was getting 8800. These Tyan drivers svck (or the AMD 8151 agp tunnel)

But I can run two instances of F@H, encode a DVD and play Far Cry on ultra setting very smooth at the same time, so it doesn;t bother me too much that my 3dmark03 score svcks....

Mine doesn't like 1200 .... hehe. Maybe I will try again i na few days once my water setup is here.
