- Who is eligible? (specifically)
- New AT&T Wireless customers
- Current AT&T Wireless customers signing up for a new line of service (Add a Line)
- Current AT&T Wireless customers who are not in an existing contract
- Current AT&T Wireless customers who did NOT receive a subsidized price on a phone in the past 22 months (this is where most previous iPhone customers fall within as the previous iPhone was not subsidized).
- If you want to be 100% sure as to your eligibility status, log into your account at http://wireless.att.com and you can see if you are currently eligible for an upgrade, and if not, on which date will you be eligible.
- Existing AT&T customers who are not currently eligible for an upgrade discount can purchase iPhone 3G for $399 for the 8GB model or $499 for the 16GB model. Both options require a new two-year service agreement.
