False. Roof was universally condemned. San Bernardino raised real possibility that the line about America's Muslim community somehow being better than Europe's Muslim community due to American tolerance is completely false. Only difference between European Muslims and American Muslims is that there are fewer over here. The best policy to reduce terrorism isn't community cooperation but instead a simple numbers game.

As to Roof, not much to say. What he did was so obviously wrong. Even segregationist racists would have thought it evil. He appears to be a one-off unconnected to a larger trend of similar actions. Syed Farook is a part of a larger trend and a sign that the wave is getting worse.

Disagree. Suicide may be evil in its effect on others, but it's an inherently limited act. That animal walked in on people worshipping, calmly spoke with them for some time, and then calmly murdered them in cold blood for things he believed other people were doing for their benefit. I cannot recall a more chilling action. Even Nazi executioners didn't have discussions with Jewish prisoners; it interferes with dehumanizing them. That is a level of subhuman that thankfully, we very seldom see.

Honestly, all five of these "people" should be put down humanely and quickly before they infect anyone else. Sadly, that isn't legally a possibility with the kidnappers, so we'll have to settle for a medium length prison sentence, but the law cannot be perfect.

All four of these kidnappers are bad people. Dylann Roof is a bad person. Folks who commit crimes and hurt others are bad people. Call them animals, evil or whatever, but interjecting race into the discussion simply means you have a horse in this race and to some degree champion one race over the other.

We shouldn't be shy to call out evil for what it is, but folks need to be judged on their actions rather than their race, gender, sexual orientation, political leaning or any other nonsense meant to divide people. That's the way I see it.

Stop blaming the media for how folks think and who they are. Take responsibility for yourself. I don't care what is said in the media, you still have the ability to think. No man will ever better himself if he cries victim and waits for others to pick him up.
