Hehe....thanks for the laugh ............
I am glad that everyone else feels the same way I do.....personally if I had a single dead pixel happen outside the return policy I wouldn't stress over it as I'm aware it's one of the drawbacks to LCD's but when you get one right oughtta the box that's just Sony not having good QC.

If Sony ships a PSP with that many dead pixels on a tiny screen, then yeah, they have bad QC.
The question is did it slip through QC, or does Sony find it acceptable to have 4 dead pixels on the screen.

I've never seen a dead pixel on any of my own LCD monitors before. Maybe because I don't poke the screen like everybody else who complains about dead pixels.

My pixels are all ok. I got the EB games warranty though, and I specifically asked him if they would replace for dead pixels. He said yes, they will replace it no matter what happens, even if you drop it and its completely your fault, they will still replace.

That is basically it.
The PSP sells at a LOSS so I can't imagine them 'bothering' to have as strict QC as they do on say their 23" LCD's or products that DO make a PROFIT for them...
I've got a bunch of Sony stuff and they have all lasted very well.
