I'd be more apt to blame Washington state at this point. He has 8 felonies here and they had him in custody and released him even though he was wanted in AR.

Not for the shooter, but it sounds like there may be some trials:

The suspected getaway driver also was caught early Tuesday morning, about 6:30 a.m., he said at a briefing. That person wasn't named.

"We're also looking at family members who aided and abetted in his escape," he told reporters. "They did everything they could to hamper our investigation. We expect to have six to seven people in custody by day's end."

Hopefully the officer who shot him doesn't have any trouble.

I just hope that the people involved in the justice system will see that the cop who shot him did the right thing. He avenged the deaths of four cops and got a scumbag off the streets, permanently, without having to go through a messy and expensive investigation, trial, and subsequent (also expensive) life imprisonment.

If the families want to give that cop shit, they won't be getting much help from the police.
