Hmm I wonder if you can put it that stuff to use - a lot of folks in quant finance like myself use the programmable nvidia hardware to do super-fast floating point math. (think high frequency trading etc). I'm not so sure that there's anything I can parallelize 4 ways though or that you'd need to do that to begin with.

Indeed....I see no point to SLI anymore. You can run any of the current games good enough with a single card.

I don't think there's any need for 4-way SLI...2-way, MAYBE. As its been said though, most games don't utilize SLI correctly anyway and consume too much power/space/heat/etc. I like the nice all-in-one cards. This is just...RIDICULOUS! ^_^

With the Quad SLI and some CUDA, we could enter a bold new era where the quants are able to destroy the nation's financial structure even faster than they did last time. Just think of the dangerous financial products they could create with this technology! Imagine the number of banks they could bring to their knees with bold new risk assessment equations! It's a brave new world.
