I never heard of this until recently.
It's not like you have been up to speed on a lot of other things either.
I never heard of this until recently.
There is alot of rumor it could have been contractors, however; a bank heist has nothing to do with the mass looting and violent crimes we get here when lights and communication go down.
It was not a bank heist it was looting. The flood caused it to be open and people went in. It was not some planned thing like a bank heist.
But yea I hear there are rumors that dillards gets over run with drunks trying to return shirts they tore up. :whiste:
BS. Just because you heard it on the internet, or thought it up in a drunk stuper, does not make it true.
After the flood: US$500,000 taken when Japan's tsunami cracks a bank safe
"Police say the earthquake and tsunami that pulverized coastal Japan crippled a bank's security mechanisms, and left a safe wide open. That allowed someone to walk off with 40 million yen (US$500,000)."
You need to stop the personal attacks though...like NOW.
Why is it then do you think that many other countries that have even more comprehensive welfare and other social programs don't have nearly as many problems with them?
ROFL at alkemyst telling someone to stop personal attacks. The guy who will go into a thread about someone's favorite flavor of ice cream and say, "Chunky monkey? LOL, you must be poor, I feel sorry for you."
c'mon, you know why... you're just afraid to say it.
Your impression is perfect. DO MOAR!

No, one of you and your irk will.
I have only stated those being poor when they were so and usually because they are acting as if they are making sound financial decisions or protraying themselves as upper class.
You have to admit you certainly like to call people out though. At times I'd say a good 1/4 of your posts are your mama insults.

Dude, saying something like that is no different then just stating it. Why are you trying to hide your racism behind a veil?
Because in modern day America there is no 'racism'. In its place we get plausible deniability racism.
That's usually only claimed by racists unable to speak their minds.
When looting occurs it's a mix of people. Unfortunately demographically in some of those areas black people outnumber the white people. It does not mean that all blacks are prone to looting.
America's problems with this are color-blind. Everyone seems to feel if they can get away with a crime then the crime should be commited.
Second time this has happened here in Ottawa in recent months. The police is trying to elaborate a strategy to deal with this phenomenon. Still, a black mark on the city's image.
Ignoring what the actual issue is with this for a minute I actually find that the "plausible deniable" form of racism is in fact far more pervasive than out and out racism. I'm not talking about the incident in the OPs post. Whenever you have a case where some heinous crime is commit by a black person people often like to come out and use phrases like savage (everyone is familiar with this on ATOT by now) or other veiled racist terms. Now of course the person in these cases often ARE savages etc... but the people who say these things always deny that they wouldn't say these things if the person were white. And they wouldn't.
Actually if you do read the news and esp follow online news where comments are allowed, you will find the term savage gets thrown out for both white/black/etc.
The problem is here people are using the term savage as a derogatory to only one skin color and this whole nagger thing is equally out of control.
